Bible Verse Of The Day - Feeding On God's Word

Bible Verse Of The Day - Feeding On God's Word

Are you feeding on God's word each and every day? If it is imperative that you eat “physical” food every day, then how much more important is it feeding on God’s Word daily?

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

Jesus wants us to understand that we require feeding on His word much more than physically eating our every day meals. After all He made us, and knows exactly what our needs are each and every day.
Make sure that every day you are feeding on God's word. Once you start feeding >>> keep reading bible verse of the day...

Bible Verse Of The Day

Bible Verse Of The Day-God Abundantly Supplies All Your Needs

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."Philippians 4:19 New International Version (NIV)

This bible verse of the day highlights the wonderful giving nature of our Lord Jesus Christ who knows your needs ahead of time and will supply you with an abundance according to His riches. As Jesus is rich so are you to made rich. As He is, so are you in the world.

In the Bible, during the wedding at Cana, the newly married couple ran out of wine. Jesus who abundantly supplies all your needs, miraculously turned water into wine (John 2:1–10).

No matter what your needs are today, God is there for you but you need to take the first step and invite Him into your life. Establish a relationship with Him and enjoy the abundance He has in store for you.

Recipe For A Happy Marriage

Happy Marriage-Recipe For A Happy Marriage

Are you struggling to keep your marriage from falling apart? Or are you just not happy with your spouse but you want to work it out? What follows are 3 ways you can resurrect your marriage or find total happiness in you marriage.

A Pastor friend of mine who has performed hundreds of wedding ceremonies, places one condition on the engaged couples before agreeing to marry them. The condition is that they give him the satisfactory answer to one very simple question. In the Pastor's mind, there was only one correct answer to this question. So what is the recipe for a happy marriage? He would ask them each to answer the question individually, and if at least one of them answered correctly, he would marry them. If both of them gave the wrong answer, he would not marry them without them agreeing to first have several marriage counseling sessions with him
The question he wanted them to answer was this, "Why do you want to marry this other person?".
For the answer, keeping reading >>> Recipe For A Happy Marriage

Are you trusting God today? Do you trust in God even when you are going through difficult times? Over the years one thing I’ve learned is the fact God doesn’t often work on our time table. God Will Provide A Way & Protect You

God Will Provide A Way

God Will Provide A Way

So how does one qualify for the incredible promises that God has made for us? Are you questioning whether God will provide for you or if God will protect you? Is it only for the select few that God chooses? Is it God's choice at all? Or is the invitation open to any and all. And if it is, how does one qualify for it?

Background
In the old testament, the book of Psalms was written by King David, the second King of Israel. His back story is amazing but I won't get into that now. Let it suffice to say that He did some really awful things when He was king, but all the time retained a close relationship with God, so that at the end of his life, God refers to David as "A man after God's Heart"

The following is something David wrote that literally tells us unequivocally how to walk through life under God's protective hand, (also referred to as dwelling under the shadow of the Almighty) so that no harm will befall you, and you will go through life with God's blessings overtaking you where ever you go.

The 91st Psalms is short but incredibly significant, and is basically in two parts.
1. He describes the nature of the protection, then he tells you how anyone can qualify for it by taking some very simple steps. The first part of the 91st Psalms says this:

God Will Provide Scripture

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. (Psalms 91:1 Amplified Bible)
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust! For it is He who delivers you from the snare the trapper, (Satan) and from the deadly pestilence. (Psalms 91:2,3 New American Standard)

He covers you with his feathers, and you find shelter underneath his wings. (Psalms 91:4 Jerusalem Bible) You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow [the evil plots and slanders of the wicked] that flies by day…(Psalms 91:5 Amplified)… nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. (Psalms 91:6 New International Version)

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not approach you…you yourself will remain unscathed…it shall not come near you…(Psalms 91:7 New American Standard-Jerusalem Bible-Amplified Bible) … you will only observe with your eyes… only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked. (Psalms 91:8 New International Version-Amplified Bible)
No evil will befall you… (Psalms 91:10 New American Standard) No disaster can overtake you, no plague, come near your tent: he will put you in his angels’ charge to guard you wherever you go. (Psalms 91:11 Jerusalem Bible)

How to Pray Effectively - Prayers To God

Prayers To God -God Please Help Me

Prayers To God

Prayers to God - It's real simple. Not a lot of formality is required nor rituals involved. That's right, God wants to hear from you now. The Bible tells us, "Men ought always to pray!" (Luke 18:1) God wants us to pray always, to tell Him about the things we want and/or need. What's that you ask? If God is all powerful and He knows what we want and/or need before we ask, why do we have to pray to ask Him for them?
The answer to that question is simple. God gave the human race complete authority in the earth. In fact, the Bible says that God gave our first parents 'dominion over all the earth'.

"Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth" (Genesis 1:26 NKJV)

Because we humans have dominion in the earth, God will not interfere with our free will, or get involved in our lives unless we ask Him to. That's where prayers to God come in. And because God loves us so much and really does want to be involved in our lives, He has given us prayer as a means by which we can invite Him to get involved in our lives. Where Is God When Tragedy Strikes-Does God Allow Suffering?

Where Is God When Tragedy Strikes

Where Is God When Tragedy Strikes

As the horror of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut continues to unfold, we are once again faced with the painful question, "Why did God allow this to happen?" Where is God when tragedy strikes? It is commonly believed by most people who believe in God, that because He is "all mighty" and "all powerful", that His failure to act when tragedy strikes, makes Him actively or passively responsible for not preventing the tragedy from occurring. In order to cope with the staggering contradiction of a "loving God" who allows terrible things to happen in our world, many well meaning men of the clergy try to console us with words like, "It must have been God's will!" or, "God works in mysterious ways, we don't always know why He allows things to happen, but we must have faith that He has a higher purpose!"
Fortunately for all of us, neither of these statements are true, because [keep reading-click here >>>]

True Meaning of Christmas

True Meaning Of Christmas

The real meaning of Christmas began more than two thousand years ago when the Lord of all Creation, the God of all that exists, asked His only Son to lay down His crown and come to planet Earth. Through the miracle of incarnation, He would be born of a virgin in small town called Bethlehem, His birthing place a stable, His bed, a manger. His name would be called Jesus. He would be a stranger in the world that He created, an alien among those whom He made in His own image and likeness. His mission, to reconcile a lost and dying world back to His Father God, to redeem any and all who would hear His voice and rise to the high calling of becoming the Sons of God.

Dear God Please Help and Give Me Strength

Dear God Please Help and Give Me Strength

Dear God Please Help & Give Me Strength

Presently, are you in the painful spot and asking, “Dear God please help me”? Are you asking, “God please give me the strength to endure? Are your prayers to God not being heard?

There are numerous instances when many of us pray God for something that is incredibly important to us or even immediately urgent, and yet it seems our prayers to God appear to go unnoticed. So why won’t God help me then? The reasons why prayers wind up going unanswered may not necessarily be obvious to you. But one things is for certain. You need to know that when we request anything according to God's will, He hears us.

“This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” (1 John 5:14 & 15 NKJV)

Notice that this verse shows us that when we have "confidence" in God, He will definitely answer our prayers whenever we pray “according to His will”. And therefore the subsequent logical question would be, “What then is His will”?

“When you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” (James 1: 5–7 NIV)

In this case the particular Bible verses are actually showing all of us that when we are double minded when we pray, we shouldn't anticipate receiving anything from God. So what is meant by  "being double minded"? The idea simply indicates that whenever you ask Him for something in prayer, you doubt whether or not He will answer you. Simply put, God will not react to "unbelieving prayer". So then if you expect God to answer your prayers, we must recognize that He listens to us and is faithful to answer our prayers. However we should recognize that there are things that can hinder our prayers.

“Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.” (Mark 11:25 NKJV)

God can only present us with the same mercy and forgiveness that we're willing to extend toward the ones who have offended or caused us pain. We are to forgive those who have “trespassed” against us and then God will hear our prayers.

From this we know that if we make God the first priority in our lives, He'll make us a His first priority. Everyday draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
